Brief Takes on upcoming projects

1. Baatchalakhi (Fiction / Crime Thriller – Limited Series or Feature Film) In the underbelly of Nashik, Sachin survives by impersonating a police officer and skimming bribes, forever chasing the one con that could set him free. Gayatri, a savvy private investigator juggling high-stakes crypto schemes and small-town scandals, crosses paths with Sachin during a case that exposes a polluting factory’s dark secrets. Their reluctant partnership is torn apart by violent enforcers, only to be rekindled when a new assignment entangles them again—this time involving a wealthy heir with secrets buried deeper than his bank vaults. As Gayatri investigates a shady boyfriend and Sachin hunts hidden black money while posing as an Income Tax officer, the two navigate a murky world of greed, lies, and betrayal. With every twist tightening the noose, trust becomes a rare currency. Can this unlikely duo outsmart tycoons, thugs, and each other to find redemption—or will they lose themselves chasing a fortune they may never share?

2. Dust to Glory (Fiction / Sports Drama – Feature Film) Sunny is a pizza delivery boy with fast hands, a faster bike, and a name tainted by caste. His father, a Phase Paradhi tribal wrongfully imprisoned, lives as a ghost of injustice. When Sunny is publicly shamed by Veer, a rich influencer and dirt bike champion, he sets out to challenge him—not with fists, but speed. Beaten but undeterred, Sunny’s spirit is noticed by Asma, a brilliant mechanic with her own scars. Under her gritty mentorship, Sunny enters the brutal world of dirt racing. To chase his dream, he slips into petty crime—until a jailhouse reckoning forces him to choose between shortcuts and self-worth. With stunt gigs and underground races funding his comeback, Sunny claws his way to the national championship, where Veer awaits—this time with more to lose than pride. Racing toward redemption, Sunny’s story is a high-octane fight for honor, identity, and a place on the podium.

3. Seeds of Heaven (Nonfiction / Documentary – Feature or Series Episode) Aboard a slow-moving train across India, a filmmaker meets Guru Mata—a transgender Adivasi spiritual leader guiding her troupe of devotional singers. As chants fill the carriage, Mata reveals a hidden world: a sacred seed festival performed each Mahashivaratri, where divine dancers are believed to bestow blessed seeds before vanishing into the dawn. Seeds of Heaven unfolds as a lyrical, three-part journey: the personal story of Guru Mata as both outcast and spiritual beacon; the vibrant spectacle of firelit dances, midnight rituals, and songs echoing in ancestral memory; and a deep dive into ancient seed preservation practices that merge ecology, faith, and folklore. Through intimate footage and immersive storytelling, the documentary reveals how this community reclaims power, protects biodiversity, and prays with their feet in the soil. At its heart, this is a story about identity, survival, and the sacred covenant between human hands and the land they nourish.

4. Flirt the Dirt (Nonfiction / Docu-Series – 8 Episodes) Flirt the Dirt takes viewers trackside and behind-the-scenes at the CEAT Indian Supercross Racing League, where a new wave of adrenaline-fueled motorsport is roaring to life. Set during the league’s pivotal third season, this eight-part series captures the stakes, sweat, and strategy of a sport hungry for national glory and global recognition. From grueling training camps to corporate boardrooms, it follows riders risking it all, mechanics pushing machines to their limits, and media teams racing to convert local fandom into international buzz. At the crossroads of entertainment, engineering, and emotion, the series explores how India’s first pro motocross league is not just creating champions—but forging a cultural revolution. As the Olympic year raises the stakes, Flirt the Dirt captures a nation on the edge of a sporting transformation, where every turn of the tire carries the promise of something bigger than victory: legacy.
